Afterword

Thank you very much for reading Silent Witch.

In the first chapter, Monica was drinking coffee alone, but in the final chapter, she is drinking coffee surrounded by friends. That’s the ending I wanted to depict from the very beginning when I started writing. I’m relieved that I was able to reach that point safely.

For a little over six months, I continued writing almost every day, and it was a very enjoyable time.

Although this work has reached its ending, I still have many stories I want to write, such as tales about the colorful Vinkel brothers, the story of the Abyss Shaman getting engaged, the story of the Thorn Witch studying abroad in disguise, the story of a new young female president being tossed around by her childhood friend, or stories set in modern-day Japan or in a completely different fantasy world. Why can’t I use a clone technique?

For a while, I won’t be able to dedicate myself to writing, but eventually, when I have time, I hope I can write little by little.

It would be my pleasure if we could meet again somewhere in another work.

  1. I’m a Thai person who follows the story of Silent Witch. I want to tell you, Isora Matsuri, thank you very much for creating a story that I love and fall in love with more than any other story I’ve ever read. Whether it’s Monica, who tries to change herself, it warms my heart so much. Even Isaac, the prince in my imagination, everything in the story makes sense. In the future, I’m ready to follow the stories of others as well. Finally, thank you for your hard work. I really love Silent Witch.

  2. Thank you so much for the translations. This has been one of the best LNs I’ve ever read and the flawless translation played no small part in it.
